The following are the texts that accompanied Profs. Acampora and Press's 10/22/03 (and 09/25/02) presentation to the Philosophy Club on the topic of applying to graduate programs in philosophy.
Philo grad aspirants should favor advice from Profs. Acampora and Press, as they are more tailored to that discipline. Also, be aware that their advice differs in some regards from Hunter's official page.

Hunter's Graduate School School Fair- November 8-11, 2004
The week will consist of workshops and a fair that help students prepare for graduate and professional schools. Planned workshops will include information on the following topics: Graduate School Admissions, Preparing for the GRE, panels on Medical School, Law School and Writing the Statement of Purpose. The Graduate and Professional School Fair, with more than 50 programs represented will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2004 from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the West Lobby.

CUNY Graduate School Fair- November 16, 2004
CUNY graduate programs exclusively, will be represented at this fair sponsored and held at Hunter College. The Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Gym, B3 West.
