Larisa Grollemond is a graduate student at City University of New York — Hunter College pursuing a master's degree in Art History with a concentration in medieval art.

Her academic interests include: French illuminated manuscripts, the artistic repercussions of the Black Death, Crusader art, textile and costume history, and royal patronage of the arts.

She is a graduate of New York University's College of Arts and Science.

She is also the author of Artifice, a blog about exhibitions, scholarship, trends and news in the art world.
